Capturing the experience, ideas and feedback from farmers, advisors, researchers and others is crucial to maximising knowledge gained and impact.

Organisations like BOFIN and Innovative Farmers do a great job of forming and supporting groups of farmers, researchers and other interested parties.

Farmers learn best from farmers and there is no substitute for real physical meetings.

Discussions can be facilitated by Whatsapp Groups and discussion boards like The Farming Forum

By sharing successes, challenges, and learnings, we aim to build a community focused on improving agricultural outcomes through evidence-based practices.

FarmPEP supports comments and discussion of project results, and enables development and sharing of distilled knowledge nuggets to return to the knowledge base.

Facilitating Farmer-led

Empowering farmers to lead research initiatives ensures that innovations are practical and directly applicable. ARC connects with a wide range of organisations in the Farmer Led Innovation Network and works with experienced facilitators.

RAU's Bridging Fields programme is providing facilitation training to researchers. AKISConnect has some useful tools and resources.
